FAQ

Why use a drone service?
Aerial photography adds a unique perspective to your photo or video project, providing views otherwise unobtainable from the ground. Also, aerial photography from a drone is much more cost effective than from a helicopter or plane. Capturing images with a drone is also much safer than traditional photography if the imagery required is located in hazardous or hard to reach places (roof inspections, construction projects, over water, etc.)

Are drones legal?
Yes, all of our pilots are FAA sUaS part 107 certified and can legally fly drones commercially.

How far can the drones fly?
Per FAA regulations, we maintain a maximum altitude of 400 feet, and always keep the drone within visual line of sight (approximately 1000 - 1500 feet depending on conditions).

Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry commercial liability insurance to cover our operations.

Does weather affect your ability to fly?
Yes, factors such as wind, temperature, precipitation, and lighting can all affect the ability to fly. Safety is our main concern and we evaluate the weather conditions before each flight to assure the safest possible flight.

What type of drones do you fly?
We currently fly the DJI Phantom 3 Pro and the DJI Phantom 4 Pro
